I’m tying something a bit different 👀 it’s a mixed box of 6 cake slices available for collection next Friday (11th July).

Pre-order only & ideally collecting between 4.30-5.30pm but I can be flexible (to an extent)

Each box will contain a slice of:

1 x chocolate strawberry & apricot loaf
1 x brown sugar elderflower & sesame loaf
1 x lemon & poppyseed banana bread
1 x cherry Biscoff brownie
1 x coconut oat & lime slice (low gluten)
1 x hazelnut shortbread

DM to secure yours! It’s a chance to sample a few different cakes and tbh a bloody bargain x

Lovely trio of cakes for a wedding a couple of weekends ago. These plus some gf brownie bites made for a very cute dessert & gifts table at the beautiful St George’s 🌸🌼 why have one wedding cake when you can have 3?

All of our tables are currently piled high with big bags of either flour & sugar or boxes of wholesale cake stacked up ready for @velociouscc to collect

So I’ve lost all my favourite spots for staging photos 🤣 but buying in bulk helps us keep our costs stable you win some you lose some x

This was the first tiered cake that I delivered unassembled, which means I stacked the two tiers and decorated it on site.

Never in a million years did I imagine I’d have the confidence to do that! But for me it was actually so much less stressful as the venue was an hour drive away.

It’s taken me YEARS to get to this point of trusting my own knowledge of my product and process but I’m so glad I finally gave it a go 🙌

(Also have to give some credit to my partner who does the driving and tries his best to keep me calm, tidy & organised)

Thanks everyone for over 90 slices of slab cake sold at my spring sale ! Safe to say I was pretty flustered and running slightly late on Saturday after the number of pre-orders I had to box & bag up before opening 🥵 but what’s new there?

Loads of lovely familiar faces & some new ones too!

Finished the day with a glass of wine (or 2) at our new neighbours @tappswinebarandkitchen - if you haven’t been yet then get to know! Such a lush addition to the area 🙌

Life behind closed doors looks a lot like this. Wholesale & celebration cakes on repeat. In case you missed my last post, the shop is open on Saturday 1pm-3pm for a little cake sale though. The only way you can get our slab cakes by the slice ! I will also have some refreshing home made lemonade for ya & I’ve heard the sun will still be shining.

Looking forward to seeing some familiar faces ! And perhaps some new ones too…
